Getting through this together safely.

updated on May 19, 2021

As of today, our state's governor has made some pretty significant changes lifting restrictions based on information from the CDC as well as Connecticut's successful rollout of the vaccine to whoever wants to have it.  Following these new guidelines, we are going to make mask-wearing optional during our services (Sunday morning worship, adult Sunday school, Bible studies...) for those who have been vaccinated.  That is not to say at all that you can't still wear a mask if you would like.  In fact, we will be asking our ushers and Sunday morning support staff to continue to wear masks, so that we can best serve all who attend. The chairs in the gym will continue to be spaced out but as a way to increase our interaction with one another, which is such an important aspect of what the church is.

As for our kid's programs that are running (Sunday school, youth groups), we are going to ask participants and staff to continue to wear masks when indoors, as this is what schools will be doing through the end of the school year. We are uncertain of what guidelines will be in July so we are unable to say what safety protocols we will have for VBS.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact the church office.
